For the first time, De La Salle Santiago Zobel School joined a speech choir competition that focused on valuing our national language and celebrating our rich culture. Last September 28, DLSZ participated in SIGABO 2013, an annual regional Sabayang Pagbigkas competition with the theme “Kultura: Pamana ng Nakaraan, Regalo ng Kasalukuyan at Susi ng Kinabukasan.”
On October 5, 2013, DLSZ will be hosting the 2013 National Sumobot Preliminary Competition. The event will be held at the school’s Gym 5 from 8:00am to 2:00 pm.
October 1, 2013 marked the official launch date of the GREEN Raffle Project. Wearing their green La Salle shirts, all students and Lasallian Partners assembled at the Sports Pavilion to witness the program.
In his second Town Hall Assembly (THA), Br. Bernard S. Oca FSC tackled the issue on Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF), more popularly known as pork barrel, subsequent to his discussion on the GREEN Raffle Project.

Congratulations to Rafaella Jean F. Villanueva (Batch 2018) who finished fourth place in the 4th Sabah Asian 14&U Junior Championships held in Sabah, Malaysia last September 16-22, 2013.
De La Salle Philippines has released the 9th issue of the Brothers’ Central House Bulletin for AY 2013-2014.
DLSZ offices will be closed tomorrow, September 27, 2013 from 3:30-4:30PM to allow the Faculty, Administrators, Administrative Service Personnel (ASP) and Staff to attend the Town Hall Assembly (THA) at the Sylvia P. Lina Theater. High school students will be dismissed early while the grade school students will be dismissed as usual.

In line with the school’s advocacy of going green, the Finance Department of DLSZ is adopting the on-line viewing of students’ accounts instead of sending out printed Statement of Accounts (SOA).  Parents who have outstanding accounts may view their  SOA in the family portal.
