ADMISSIONS POLICY

The De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) is a Catholic school. Non-Catholics are admitted provided they participate in all religious activities that are required of the students. No exemption shall be granted by reason of membership in or affiliation with a different religion. 

A student’s application will be given due course when the student-applicant meets all the academic requirements and has none of the disqualification prescribed by the School, the Department of Education 2010 Revised Manual of Regulations for Private Schools in Basic Education and the DLSZ Student Handbook as amended and such other rules promulgated by the School.

The school reserves the right at any time to refuse, to admit, or to re-admit students under certain conditions as enrolment in DLSZ is a privilege.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

For Filipino Applicants

Additional requirements for the following:

For International Applicants

  • Copy of Birth Certificate from the Office of the Civil Registry of the country of birth, translated into English, or Embassy Certification of birth details;
  • Copy of valid Passport- Bio page, Visa page and stamp of latest arrival page;
  • Copy of valid Alien Certificate of Registration Identification (ACR I-card) issued by the Bureau of Immigration; and
  • Copy of Special Investor’s Resident Visa (SIRV), Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV), PRA or other valid Visa Identification document
  • Note: Tourist Visa and Balikbayan Visa holders are required by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to apply for a Special Study Permit (SSP). DLSZ will provide assistance in the processing of the SSP once the applicant is confirmed for enrollment. For Applicant with Dual Citizenship

  • Copy of Philippine passport and/or
  • Copy of Identification Certificate as Filipino/Certificate of Recognition as Filipino Citizen/Naturalization Certificate as Filipino

The Application Fee rate will be based on the nationality of the applicant at the time of the application. For those with on-going petition for Dual Citizenship, please submit as proof a photocopy of the Official Receipt and Receiving Copy of Requirements from the Philippine Consulate or the Bureau of Immigration.

All submitted documents in compliance with the entrance examination requirements shall become the property of DLSZ and are NOT to be returned to the applicant.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Application Form

Fill out and submit the online application form via the Admissions Portal (https://admissions.dlszobel.edu.ph). Download the Application Confirmation Slip, Withdrawal Policy Form, Data Privacy Statement Consent Form and Waiver for Non-Catholics generated through the online form.

Application Fee Payment

Pay the non-refundable Application and Testing Fee (Php 700 for Filipinos and USD 75 for international applicants) through the different online payment facilities as indicated below.

Requirements Submission

Submit all application requirements through the Admissions Portal (https://admissions.dlszobel.edu.ph).

You may check the status of each submitted requirement if it’s verified and accepted within 5-7 days. An email notification will be sent to you for the missing application requirements. Only applicants who have submitted complete application requirements will be given a Test Permit.

Admissions Test

Download the Test Permit from the Admissions Portal (https://admissions.dlszobel.edu.ph). The Test Permit will be released within 5 to 7 working days upon receipt of complete application requirements.

Entrance Test

Take the Entrance Test on the day indicated in the Test Permit. 

Note: Entrance Test will commence in January 2023.

Release of Test Results

Check the application result via the  Admissions Portal (https://admissions.dlszobel.edu.ph) on the day indicated in the Test Permit.

PAYMENT FACILITIES

There are several ways to make payments to the school easy, fast, and efficient, preferably via online payment gateways such as the following:

1. Online banking using BILLS PAYMENT FACILITY through your bank’s mobile app or website to transfer funds to the school’s Union Bank account with the following details:

2. Via DLSZ online payment facility (https://pay.dlszobel.edu.ph) using your credit card or online banking accounts using the BILLS PAYMENT FACILITY with the following details:

3. Over the counter payments can be made at any Union Bank branch using the Bills Payment Slip with the following details:

Payment for (Company/Institution): De La Salle Santiago Zobel School

Client Name: Student’s Name

Reference Number: Student’s Application Number

Account Number: CA 018-03-000-6691 

An official receipt shall be issued after confirmation of payment. The official receipt may be claimed from the school’s Accounting Office on schedule or a PDF copy may be requested thru studentaccounts@dlszobel.edu.ph.

RELEASE OF APPLICATION RESULTS

1. Application results and copy of Acceptance Letter are available online via the Admissions Portal.

2. Parents of accepted applicants should confirm enrollment on the dates indicated in the Acceptance Letter.

3. Telephone inquiries regarding the application results will NOT be entertained. 

 

 

PROCEDURE FOR CONFIRMATION OF ENROLLMENT

Submit the accomplished Development Fee Form together with the proof of payment (e.g. screenshot of payment confirmation or photo of deposit slip) of the Development Fee (PhP 50,000 for Filipinos and USD 2,000 for international applicants) to admissions@dlszobel.edu.ph . The Development Fee is a non-refundable fee made upon confirmation. Only Filipino students, however, are given an option to pay in installments: For Grade 12 transferees, PhP 25,000 is paid upon confirmation of enrollment and the remaining PhP 25,000 should be paid before the academic year ends. For the rest, the Development Fee may be paid within two (2) academic years.

Note: The Development Fee rate will be based on the nationality of the applicant at the time of the confirmation of enrollment.

Submit a copy of the original final report card, if available, or the signed Affidavit of Undertaking (please click the file to generate the document)  to  admissions@dlszobel.edu.ph. For international applicants, submit the duly accomplished Information Sheet for International Students (please click the file to generate the document), too.

 

FAILURE TO CONFIRM ENROLLMENT WITHIN THE GIVEN TIME FRAME MAY FORFEIT THE APPLICANT’S ADMISSION TO DE LA SALLE SANTIAGO ZOBEL SCHOOL.

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE

Once payment for the Development Fee has been processed, check the email notification (through the registered primary email address in the Admissions Portal) to create a Family Portal account.

Proceed with the online tuition assessment and enrollment through the Family Portal account. Go to “Accounts” then click Tuition Assessment.

Finalize your assessment and proceed with payment.

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

The following enrollment requirements must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office in Alabang Campus on or before August 31, 2023:

  1. Original Copy of Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (formerly National Statistics Office);
  2. Original Final Report Card of the current level signed by the School Head/Registrar which indicates the level completed and the level the student is eligible for admission to; 
  3. Certified True Copy of Kindergarten Certificate of Completion with the student’s LRN (for Grade One transferee); and
  4. Original Copy of the Apostille / Authentication Certification and attachments.

Additional payment which may be required upon enrollment aside from the Tuition and Other Fees.

International students required by the Bureau of Immigration to apply for a Special Study Permit will be charged PhP 8,000.

All submitted physical documents in compliance with the application requirements shall become the property of DLSZ and are NOT to be returned to the applicant.
