The Pacific Basin Music Festival is an international event, bringing together the most talented student music groups from different countries. Festival activities include an adjudicated concert, outdoor group performances, a full ensemble workshop, an exchange rehearsal activity, a luau, command performances, and a tour of Honolulu Zoo and Pearl Harbor.

In 2017, the DLSZ Symphonic Band also won Silver in this festival.

Kudos to their Conductor Mr. Philip Caesar Dagang. The group was assisted by Mr. Daryl Galicia, Music Coordinator, and Ms. Lynette Feliciano, Cultural Affairs Office Head.
