The DLSZ Vermosa Baseball Seniors team bested other Imus Schools in the Division Meet held last February 18-19, 2023 at the Imus Grandstand, Imus City earning them the right and privilege to represent Imus City in the Regional Athletic Association (RAA) Meet

They remain victorious, with a score of 7-4 against General Trias on their first game during the RAA Meet last March 26, 2023, at the General Trias Sports Park, Cavite.

The boys and coaches proudly wore black ribbons on their arms carrying the #54 to honor Coach Jaime “Jimmy” Paningasan who passed away that morning. They dedicated that win to Coach Jimmy.

“Coach Jimmy would teach us the value of believing in oneself. The times we would step into the batter’s box in big situations, Coach Jimmy would be the one saying, “I need a hit and I know you can do it,” shares Team Captain, Nathan Tolentino.
