The Zobel Parliament Debate Society congratulates its contingent for a stellar performance in the recently concluded 8th Adelante Cup held last February 27-28, 2021.
DLSZ D – Andre Gonzales (DLSZ 2021), Riva Fong (DLSZ 2021), and Clarisse Tan (DLSZ 2023) were the Open Champions of the tournament with Riva Fong bagging the Open Finals Best Speaker and Open 10th Best Speaker awards.
DLSZ B – Kate Aguto (DLSZ 2025), Kristen Reyes (DLSZ 2023), and Paris Pineda (DLSZ 2021) were the Novice Champions of the tournament. All three were awarded with speaker awards. Kate Aguto was awarded Novice Finals Best Speaker and Novice 8th Best Speaker awards, Kristen was awarded Novice 5th Best Speaker awards, and Paris was awarded Open 7th Best Speaker and Novice 2nd Best Speaker.
DLSZ A – Leonna Ronquillo (DLSZ 2023), Celina Buncayo (DLSZ 2022), and Alyssa Bobadilla (DLSZ 2022) bowed out of the competition at Quarterfinals. Leonna Ronquillo was awarded Open 2nd Best Speaker while Celina was awarded Open 6th Best Speaker.
DLSZ C – Yzza Sering (DLSZ 2023), Therese Lachaona (DLSZ 2022), and Dani Garcia (DLSZ 2021) ended their run as the 1st Open Reserve Break. Both Yzza and Therese were awarded Open 10th Best Speaker.
