The De La Salle Brothers Inc. released an update regarding the Lasallian kada-uno response to the COVID-19 pandemic:
The Lasallian family wishes to extend its sincerest gratitude for your support to our initiatives especially during this very challenging time. We are moved by your generosity, and recognize your resolute response to our call for assistance. Your donation has greater value and meaning to the frontliners and the homeless who are most vulnerable especially during this time of the pandemic.
Now on our fourth week of community quarantine, our Lasallian kada-uno response to the COVID-19 pandemic which started with many small steps has taken on bigger strides as the number of affected individuals increased and the whole world without exception began to feel the effects of the most devastating health hazard we have experienced in our lifetime.
We are now working in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Manila (RCAM), the Society of the Divine Word (SVD), the Society of Jesus (SJ), and many other participating civil society organizations and NGOs. We are convinced that we need to work with even greater zeal and work for collective impact given the enormity of the task ahead. Your support further strengthens our capacity to work together for those who are in need.
