Regular and punctual attendance is essential to a student’s successful academic experience. In line with this, the Academic Calendar is provided in advance to allow parents/guardians to align their personal schedules accordingly. Students are expected to take all assessments and accomplish performance tasks as scheduled. Requests for early or advanced administration will not be accommodated. (Student Handbook, Section 6.1: Assessments)
Furthermore, students are expected to follow the class schedule until the last day of classes. Absences due to family trips or vacations during school days disrupt the continuity of learning and are therefore strongly discouraged. (Student Handbook, Section 5: Attendance)
