DLSZ Taekwondo Lady Jin Wins in Two Major Taekwondo National Tournaments

DLSZ Taekwondo Varsity Lady Jin Kamilla Omer (2024) bagged a silver medal in the Best of the Best Taekwondo Championships- Middleweight Senior Women Division and a bronze medal in the National Interschool Taekwondo Championships last September 2-3, 2023 and September 30 – October 1, 2023, respectively. 

Kamilla was among the 900 blackbelt participants who battled it out during Best of the Best Taekwondo Championships- Middleweight Senior Women Division at the Ayala Malls, Manila Bay. Only top fighters who have previously won gold medals in earlier PTA-sanctioned tournaments are qualified to join this prestigious event. 
On the other hand, The SMART-MVPSF Interschool Taekwondo Tournament had a record-high of 4000 participants- a first for the Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) held at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Manila. 

Coach Ricardo L. Santiago, Jr. (DLSZ 1986) heads the DLSZ Taekwondo Varsity Team with coaches Edwardo Cruz (Kyorugi) and Noel Almaida (Kyorugi).
