Congratulations to the DLSZ Chess Team for finishing 6th in the Midgets Division and ranking 5th in the Juniors Division as well as receiving 1 Gold, 2 Silver, and 3 Bronze medals, respectively in the Individual categories of the PAYA Chess Tournament held onsite at La Salle Greenhills on September 24 and October 8, 2022.

According to Coach Jodi Fronda, the students enjoyed getting back in the tournament and this was an unexpected win since it was the first time for most of them to compete during the pandemic.
