De La Salle Santiago Zobel (DLSZ) and De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU) Robotics Elite Team won 1st place in the Federation of International Robosports Association [FIRA] Brazil 2021, SimulCup Business Innovation and Category held last December 1 to 7, 2021.
FIRA 2021 was organized as a SimulCup with real robot events and was organized and judged simultaneously in several local events happening worldwide. The DLSZ x DLSAU team that collaborated on this business and innovation project was composed of two (2) Robotics Elite members from DLSZ: Bjorn Isaac Escalona (DLSZ 2023) and Eddrian Costes (DLSZ 2023) and one (1) Robotics Elite member from DLSAU: Tobias Simon De Leon (DLSAU 2022).
