The Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) has awarded DLSZ the GOLD RIBBON SCHOOL AWARD CERTIFICATE for having the most number of YES Awardees for the last three years. This is the first time for DLSZ to receive this school recognition from DOST which started conferring the Gold Ribbon School Award in 2018.
The Gold Ribbon School Award is given every three (3) years, and it is based on the number of international awards in three (3) years.
Accordingly, DLSZ congratulates 55 of its students for receiving Youth Excellence in Science (YES) medals for “showcasing exemplary performance in various international science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) competitions.”
