Aligned with the goal of the institution to enhance learning using data-driven instruction, the school initiated a research training program on the conduct of educational action research dubbed as Sustaining Teacher-Leadership and Academic-vitality through Research (STAR). This is anchored on the principle that research is an integral component of any educational institution because it provides a powerful framework for drawing upon the knowledge and experiences of teachers to address important educational issues.
To ensure that the participants are trained by credible and well-respected consultants in the field of research, Dr. Maricar S. Prudente, Full Professor from DLSU-Manila, and Dr. Socorro E. Aguja, Graduate School Vice-Dean from De La Salle Araneta University, were invited to facilitate the webinar-workshop.
The workshop was composed of three-module series. The sessions were scheduled via teleconference for nine (9) Saturdays with three hours each starting July 25, 2020 to September 19, 2020.
Module 1: Developing Action Research Proposals
Module 2: Collecting and Analyzing Evidences of Improvement
Module 3: Disseminating Action Research Results
