The Our Lady of Guadalupe exhibit will be visiting DLSZ on January 27 to February 2, 2019. The Rock upon which Our Lady of Guadalupe stood is included in the visit.

On December 9, 1531, the Ever Pure Mother of the True God, appeared to St. Juan Diego on Mt. Tepeyac. Her garments shone so brilliantly that the entire mountain was transformed by Her glory. The earth sparkled like emeralds and multi colored jewels. The rocks upon which She stood became as precious gold.
It was our Lady’s desire that a temple be raised in Her honor in the very place where She stood and walked upon on Mt. Tepeyac. In the ground breaking of the construction of The Basilica of our Lady of Guadalupe, no rock has been thrown away for they have been touched by the feet of our Celestial Queen. It is kept safe in the grounds of Mt. Tepeyac from which a few pieces were taken and brought to the Philippines by Msgr. Diego Monroy Ponce.
