Young Lasallians shine on the international stage with 12 medals at prestigious global competition
De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) once again made its mark in the global academic arena, clinching a total of 12 medals—seven (7) gold, two (2) silver, and three (3) bronze at the Neo Science Olympiad 2025, held last June 10-16, 2025 at Montclair State University, New Jersey. The awarding ceremony took place at the historic Alfred Lerner Hall, Columbia University, New York.
The International Neo Science Olympiad is a premier global competition that gathers outstanding young minds from Grades 3 to 11 to compete in various disciplines, including Mathematics, Natural Science, Coding, AI Prompt Challenge, DIY Project, and Robotix. Designed to cultivate scientific inquiry, innovation, and collaboration, the Olympiad welcomed participants from across the world, including countries such as Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Indonesia, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, North Macedonia, Philippines, Romania, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.

Among the standout performers were three (3) DLSZ students who brought home multiple awards in various categories:
