Congratulations to the following student athletes who won medals for the City of Muntinlupa in the recent DepEd NCR games hosted by Pasay City last February 14-18, 2011:
- ABIGAIL MARIE BANAGA GARCIA (DLSZ 2011) – gold medal in the secondary doubles badminton event
- BORIS PATRICK RODRIGUEZ SUMABAT (DLSZ 2016) – silver medal grade school badminton
- DLSZ Baseball Colt High School Team composed of 12 DLSZ players – gold medal in secondary baseball eventÂ
- CAMILA CABRIGA STA. ANA (DLSZ 2015) and JULIA LUISA GREGORIO PANGANIBAN (DLSZ 2017) – gold medals in their respective weight category in Taekwondo event.
- ESTELLE MARIE LOURDES ATIP CERRUTI (DLSZ 2018) – gold medal in the grade school individual tennis event Â
They will automatically represent NCR in the Palarong Pambansa in May 2011 in Dipolog City.
Other DLSZ student athletes who participated in the NCR games will also have the chance to get invited by the winning NCR city by virtue of their medal finish in their respective events. They are as follows:
- DIZON, ISAIAH MIGUEL (DLSZ 2015) and AMPIL, DIANA ANGELICA (DLSZ 2016) got a share of the gold medal and silver medal respectively in the team medley swim event.Â
- DLSZ Junior Green Archers UAAP Team and DLSZ Grade School Basketball team bagged the silver medal respectively
- Four (4) DLSZ Girls High School basketball players who joined the Muntinlupa Team composed mostly of San Beda Alabang student athletes got the silver medal.
- DLSZ High School Girls Football Team bagged the silver medal
- DLSZ High School Girls Volleyball UAAP Team got the bronze medal finish
