Last October 3, 2014, selected DLSZ high school students headed to UP Film Institute’s Cine Adarna Theater to take part in SIGABO: Ang Rehiyunal at Taunang Patimpalak sa Sabayang Pagbigkas where they were proclaimed as this year’s CHAMPION and the recipient a special award for BEST IN INTERPRETATION.
Sigabo, now on its 6th year, carried the theme, “Tinig ng Damdamin, Kwento ng Tagumpay, at Sigaw ng Pagbabago”. Eight schools participated in the said event. Batasan National High School got the third place while last year’s champion School of Saint Anthony landed second.
