In the concluded Kulturang Pinoy Quiz Wiz’ Essay Writing Contest, Sofia Isabel Andal (DLSZ 2020) and Victoria Therese Tsui (DLSZ 2020) bagged the First and Second Honorable Mention, respectively. The contest proper was held on December 7, 2013 in Unilab Bayanihan Annex Center, Mandaluyong City and awarding on February 8, 2014.
The essay contest dwelt on Philippine history and culture with around 300 participating students in the Elementary and High School Levels both from public and private schools.
The Brown Movement for Cultural Advancement, Inc. (Kilusang Kayumanggi), an NGO which aims to preserve, foster and promote the Filipino cultural genius, sponsored the concluded Essay Writing Contest for Elementary (Grades IV to VI) in connection with Kulturang Pinoy Quiz Wiz Year 4.
