DLSZ takes part in Lasallian Earth Day (LED) which was launched by De La Salle Philippines to heighten the sense of Lasallian’s commitment to the environment. Â LED will be held every first Friday of the month.
De La Salle schools in the Philippines will identically use the logo created by Robert Michael Reyes and partner Neon Samantha Jose from De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde.
According to DLSP, the objectives of LED are as follows:
To provide formal and experiential educational ectivities on a monthly frequency.
To raise awareness about the environment and the ways each of us can contribute towards having a society of good stewards of God’s creation.
Lasallian Earth Day goes hand in hand with DLSP’s Project Carbon Neutral which was launched last June 14, 2010. This is one of DLSP’s significant undertakings to be carbon neutral or better.
