Mr. Frankie Villanueva, Grade School Reading Teacher, Mr. Jeremias Daniel Picaña, Junior High School Social Studies Teacher, Ms. Leah Marie Tumlos-Castillo, Junior High School Social Studies Coordinator, and Mr. Jose Mari Calamlam, Senior High School STEM Teacher have passed and are now duly certified Microsoft Certified Educators.
They took the examination last March 2019. Sir Frankie and Sir Jeremias were nominated by their subject area coordinators, while Ms. Leah was nominated by Ms. Emie Baylon, HS Education Technology Coordinator, “based on their technology proficiency and application of blended learning models in their line of expertise”.
The Microsoft Certified Educator Examination is a global validating examination focused on the 21st Century Learning Design. This is mapped along the UNESCO ICT Framework centered on different key competencies, namely:
