Interested writers are invited to submit unlimited entries to Palaso: Short and Quick, a collection of deep and thought-provoking prose and poetry.
Palaso is a literary folio spearheaded by selected teachers from the High School Department.
Below are the guidelines for submission:
- The following literary types are accepted:
- Interested writers may submit unlimited entries. No specific theme is required.
- Students enrolled this AY 2016-2017 and current employees of DLSZ are allowed to submit.
- Short stories with a minimum number of 500 words and a maximum of 700
- Poetry (no minimum/maximum number of words)
- Essays with a minimum number of 300 words and a maximum of 500
- Written works may be in Filipino or English.
- The layout and format of your entries are to be decided by the members of the editorial board.
- The inclusion of your entries is subject to discussion. If your entry/ies is/are chosen, you will be notified via email.
- Deadline of submission is on April 7, 2017 (Friday).

- Type your entry/ies in only on MS Word Document, and email the file to palaso.dlsz@gmail.com as an attachment.
