The Cultural Affairs Office in collaboration with the Art Unit will be holding its second Annual Art Competition at the DLSZ Sports Pavilion entitled a “PEACE” of ART on November 16, 2015. This event aims to provide young art lovers a venue to express and share their talents, foster appreciation and excellence for art creation and design, and to promote the school’s advocacy of peace and non-violence.
Last year, over 150 grade school and high school students from 22 private and public schools in Muntinlupa, Paranaque and Las Pinas Cities participated in the friendly competition. The “PEACE” of ART was cited as the “Most Creative Event” for the 2014 in the Face to Faith Peace Day competition, a project by international organizations, Peace One Day, and the Tony Blair Faith Foundation. Special judges for this year’s competition are Mr. Nemesio Miranda Jr. , Mr. Rudolph Gonzales and Mr. Clarence Eduarte.
