Br. Rafael Donato FSC Night High School (BRafeNHS)

ADMISSION POLICY

The De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) is a Catholic school. Non-Catholics are admitted provided they participate in all religious activities that are required of the students. No exemption shall be granted by reason of membership in or affiliation with a different religion.

The De La Salle Santiago Zobel – Br. Rafael Donato FSC Night High School (DLSZ-BRafeNHS) was established in 1997 as the DLSZ Adult Night High School (ANHS). Since then, the program has evolved significantly – from holding classes in public schools to settling on the DLSZ campus with improved facilities and curriculum. Then, it transitioned from a terminal high school to a full secondary education provider that offered technical-vocational training and scholarship support. In 2009, the DLSZ Night High School was renamed to Br. Rafael Donato FSC Night High School (BRafeNHS) to honor the late Lasallian Brother, and became a fully operational JHS and SHS for the basic education scholars, which included an Open High School and Technical-Vocational program offerings.

The DLSZ-BRafeNHS offers a scholarship and financial assistance program. All BRafeNHS students must meet the grade qualifications outlined on the BRafeNHS webpage and reapply for their placement each academic year. The school’s Admissions Board reserves the right to accept or reject applicants based on various factors, not solely grades or financial status.

A student’s application will be given due course when the student-applicant meets all the academic requirements and has none of the disqualification prescribed by the School, the Department of Education’s 2010 Revised Manual of Regulations for Private Schools in Basic Education, and the DLSZ Student Handbook as amended and such other rules promulgated by the School.

Any misrepresentation of information will be considered a sufficient reason for refusal of admission and/or future exclusion. The school reserves the right at any time to refuse, to admit, or to re-admit students under certain conditions as enrolment in DLSZ-BRafeNHS is a privilege.
