The DLSZ Seniors Baseball team emerged as GENERAL CHAMPIONS (Colt Division) in the Philippine TOT Baseball League last Sunday, March 31, 2024, at the Carmona Samurai Baseball Field, Carmona, Cavite.
After winning School Champions in the South Division, they also gained Overall Champions in the South winning over the Community Champions, and finding themselves in the General Championships. They defeated University of Santo Tomas, Champions of the North Division, 18-15 in 7 innings in an almost 4-hour game under the blistering sun.
This Championship makes them the official team representing the Philippines in the coming Pony World Series 2024.

This game is special as it was the last time the six (6) graduating members played for DLSZ in their high school baseball career. The team huddled on the pitcher’s mound after the game to exchange messages for each other and the Seniors had their final run around the bases as their farewell.
