College Fair goes 3D at the GradVantage Global College Fair 2022

It was a fun-filled two-day event as GradVantage launched its first virtual Global College Fair 2022 last January 22-23, 2022 on a 3D platform!

A total of 27 local and international universities and colleges participated as exhibitors in this virtual event. From abroad, Syracuse University, Loyola Marymount University, University of San Francisco, Swiss Education Group, Christian Brothers University and St. Mary’s College of California, were just a few. Locally, De La Salle University, De La Salle-College of St. Benilde, De La Salle-Medical and Health Sciences Institute, De La Salle Lipa, University of St. La Salle, MAPUA, and Southville International School and Colleges, among others.

Grades 9-12 students from various  schools, including some parents, were able to get insights from the different talks dubbed as #GradVersations. Topics include “Financial Aid and Scholarships” by Ms. Grichelle Prado of DLSU and  “Gen Z and the Post Pandemic Age” by film and TV director Joey Reyes were among the well-attended talks. Parents and students also watched the talks on “Scholarship Opportunities abroad for Student Athletes” by Roxanne Yu of Sportsync and the panel discussion on “Staying on Track in Senior High School” by Mrs. Ella Favis with her son, Karlo.

Here are some of the feedbacks from the attendees:

“The speaker was full of life during the presentation, making the talk seem more interesting. It also addressed some of my questions and worries regarding the topic and helped me ease my anxiety [sic].”

“It was a very engaging experience as well, both for the students and exhibitors. Also, I’m happy that students still attended the event despite the current situation in Manila.”

“I loved how comprehensive and informative the speech was about how to apply for a college application and how to apply for a scholarship program. This really helped me as a senior high school student.”
