Ten (10) debaters competed, two (2) judged, and eight (8) observed in Ateneo Debate Society’s Ateneo Debate Camp held via Zoom and Discord last November 20, 27 and 28.
The Zobel Parliament (ZP) members attended a series of breakout sessions on debating, argumentation, case building, and judging on the first day of camp which was held on November 20. The tournament commenced on November 27-28, 2021.
Following the four preliminary rounds against multiple high schools on the first day, all five teams ended their run with:
- DLSZ A (Golez & Pecjo) ended their run with 5 points, accumulating 597 combined speaker points.
- DLSZ B (Gopi & Fuentes) ended their run with 4 points, accumulating 601 combined speaker points.
- DLSZ C (Leonardo & Reyes) ended their run with 2 points, accumulating 575 combined speaker points.
- DLSZ D (Arcillas & Dura) ended their run with 5 points, accumulating 584 combined speaker points.
- DLSZ E (Lunar & Tavera) ended their run with 1 point, accumulating 586 combined speaker points.

This is the first tournament participated in by the new club members who joined Zobel Parliament this year, and the last tournament to wrap up 2021.We’re ready for what’s to come in 2022!
