Zobel Parliament (ZP) congratulates its nine (9) members who participated in the National Asians High School Debate Championship last August 21-22, 28-29. This tournament was hosted by De La Salle University (DLSU) with all rounds held via Zoom and Discord.
DLSZ A, composed of Clarisse Hanikka Tan (DLSZ 2023), Leonna Ricci Ronquillo (DLSZ 2023), and Paris Pineda (DLSZ 2022), broke fifteenth and advanced to the out rounds.
DLSZ B with Therese Lachaona (DLSZ 2022), Mary Janiyah Kate Aguto (DLSZ 2025), and Alyssa Reanna Bobadilla (DLSZ 2022) broke sixteenth and advanced to the out rounds. Both teams bowed out of the competition as Octo Finalists.
DLSZ C, composed of Raven Anne Laigo (DLSZ 2024) and Yzza Keana Sering (DLSZ 2023), finished their stint as Open Reserve Break teams while DLSZ D with Aaron Arthur Lim (DLSZ 2023), Eidd Josef Tayag (DLSZ 2022), and Raine Isabel Eslabon (DLSZ 2025) ended their run as Novice Reserve Break teams.
Kudos to these members who have made ZP proud as they showcased their skill in debating in the Asians format. They were mentored by their coach, Marina Lim.
