Erica Mae De Luna (DLSZ BRafeNHS 2025) has etched her name in UAAP history, becoming the first and only player across all divisions (men’s and women’s) to achieve a quadruple-double—a rare and extraordinary feat in basketball. De Luna delivered a dominant performance, recording 32 points, 16 rebounds, 11 assists, and 12 steals, showcasing her all-around brilliance on the court.
Her historic achievement came during De La Salle Santiago Zobel’s (DLSZ) 112-24 victory over Ateneo yesterday, March 2, 2025, securing 3rd place in the UAAP Season 87 girls’ tournament.
“To all aspiring young women athletes, keep striving to reach your goals and always maintain the eagerness to achieve them. Nothing is impossible if you keep working hard—just trust the process. And on your journey, never forget to look back and remember why you started,” shared Erica.
Apart from UAAP, De Luna has excelled on both national and international stages. She played a key role in the NYBL championship team, which represented the Philippines in the 2024 International Youth Basketball Championship (Women’s Division) in Dubai. The team won the championship in December 2024, with De Luna earning the MVP and Mythical 5 awards.
Additionally, she is also a two-time WNCAA High School Division Mythical 5 awardee (Seasons 54 and 55), further proving her consistency and dominance in the court.
This milestone not only cements De Luna’s legacy in Philippine high school basketball but also marks a key moment for the DLSZ Girls Basketball program.
The entire DLSZ community celebrates this incredible achievement. Congratulations, Erica! Animo La Salle!
