Learner Formation

The Learner Formation Department is responsible for the holistic development of students, focusing on fostering Lasallian values of religio (faith), mores (morals), and cultura (culture). This department ensures the effective design, planning, and implementation of programs that support student formation, discipline, and well-being.

Led by the Associate Principal for Learner Formation (AP-LF), the office is tasked with executing the LCV-Lasallian Leader in Me (LLIM) program within classrooms, emphasizing student leadership and values-based education. The AP-LF collaborates with the Lasallian Formation and Mission Department (LFMD) to ensure that formation programs align with the school’s mission and support students’ spiritual and moral growth. As the Coordinator for Gender Responsiveness and Safe Spaces, the department plays a key role in promoting gender equality and creating a safe, inclusive environment. It ensures that the school community is well-informed about the Safe Spaces Act, fostering a culture of respect and sensitivity.

Additionally, the Learner Formation Department also takes a proactive approach to student discipline, promoting positive behavior and preventing violations of school policies. It leads the implementation of the Student Discipline program, focusing on positive discipline and educating students on the importance of accountability and responsible conduct.

It prioritizes mental health by promoting a compassionate and supportive school environment. It sustains mental health education and reinforces the community’s commitment to student well-being.

Finally, the office oversees the Committee on Discipline (CODI) for students, ensuring that discipline is handled in a fair and educational manner, while reinforcing the importance of maintaining a respectful and orderly school environment.
