DLSZ Taekwondo Earns Top Finishes at Major Competitions
Congratulations to the DLSZ Taekwondo athletes for their outstanding performances at the 2026 MuntiParLas CPJ Taekwondo Tournament and the 2026 Smart/MVP Sports Foundation National New Face of the Year Taekwondo Championships, held in Pasay City and Manila City, respectively.
Building on the momentum from MuntiParLas, the team excels at the 2026 Smart/ MVP Sports Foundation National New Face of the Year Taekwondo Championships, held on May 16-17 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium and May 31, 2026, at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum. Facing some of the country’s top young taekwondo practitioners, the team once again displayed outstanding talent, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Carlo Sebastian Ramos (DLSZ 2031)- Bronze

Additionally, the DLSZ Taekwondo proudly showcased exceptional skill, discipline, and perseverance at the 2026 MuntiParLas CPJ Taekwondo Tournament, held on May 9, 2026. Competing against talented athletes from various schools, the school brought home multiple medals in both Kyorugi and Individual Poomsae.

Among the tournament’s standout performances was from Carlo Sebastian Ramos, who earned podium finishes in both divisions, demonstrating exceptional versatility, technical skill, and competitive excellence.
These achievements reflect the young athletes’ hard work, the guidance from their coaches, and the support of their families and the school community. The DLSZ Taekwondo has once again brought honor to the school and continues to inspire fellow Lasallians to strive for excellence in both sports and academics.
