DLSZ Triathlon Team Opens 2026 Season with Back-to-Back Wins in Triathlon Events
Congratulations to the De La Salle Santiago Zobel (DLSZ) Triathlon Team for delivering an impressive performance in two (2) consecutive competitions —the National Age Group Triathlon (NAGT) held on February 21–22 and the Pho3nix Kids Philippines Race Leg 1 (Subic Bay Multisport Festival) on February 26-27 in Subic, Zambales.
Demonstrating the Lasallian core values of Faith, Service, and Communion in Mission, the student-athletes competed with determination, discipline, and sportsmanship while proudly carrying the green and white.
Kurt recorded a total race time of 29:31- 6:20 swim, 16:26 bike, 6:45 run, showing consistent speed and endurance across all three legs of the race.
Jairus’ impressive effort earned him a total time of 1:04:42 – 13:56 swim, 30:11 bike, 19:53 run, proving his ability to sustain top performance across all segments.
Dirk’s total time of 1:04:42- 15:45 swim, 30:18 bike, 18:27 run, reflected both speed and endurance throughout the race.
Diego’s total time of 36:51- 11:40 swim,10:53 bike, 14:18 run, reflected his consistent effort and dominance throughout the race.
Team Captain Caleb’s total time of 39:00- 11:17 swim, 10:53 bike, 16:50 run, demonstrated his consistency and competitiveness throughout the race.
Ice’s total time of 33:26- 8:21 swim, 11:09 bike, 13:56 run showcased his endurance and ability to maintain pace throughout the race.
Additionally, DLSZ also acknowledges the participation of Joan Bae (DLSZ 2029) for securing the champion title in the Sundown Aquathlon held on February 14, 2026, at Vermosa Sports Hub, Imus, Cavite.

Beyond the podium finishes, the races highlighted the DLSZ Triathlon Team’s growing strength and unity. Each athlete showed resilience in the swim, bike, and run while supporting one another.
