This prestigious honor places DLSZ among an elite global community of schools celebrated for their commitment to educational innovation and transformation. Since 2016, DLSZ has been part of a select group of institutions worldwide that embodies excellence in teaching and learning, particularly its integration of technology to enrich the classroom experience and equip our 21st-century learners for future challenges. “This recognition affirms our ongoing commitment to making learning more engaging, collaborative, and future-ready for all our students,” shares Associate Principal for Learning Standards, Ms. Leah Tumlos-Castillo.

Given this global recognition, the Microsoft Showcase School program is an opportunity to engage with Microsoft, get support from local Global Training Partners, and engage with like-minded school leaders around the world to deepen and expand education transformation using Microsoft Education Transformation Framework. To date, DLSZ has initiated technology integration across grade levels, established professional learning communities for teachers, and embedded personalized learning strategies that foster inclusion and equity. The school proudly celebrates having one (1) Microsoft Education Fellow, four (4) Minecraft Ambassadors, 49 Microsoft Certified Educators, 60 Microsoft Office Specialists, and 59 Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts (27 newly accepted and 33 renewed for the Class of 2025–2026), further demonstrating its sustained commitment to future-ready skills, data-driven decision-making, and impactful use of Microsoft solutions in support of demonstrating this recognition.
