A moment that will be remembered in De La Salle Santiago Zobel (DLSZ) sports for years to come, the DLSZ High School (HS) Animo Squad made history by securing the school’s first-ever Gold medal at the 55th WNCAA Cheerleading Competition Juniors Division held on March 16, 2025 at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Manila City. This groundbreaking victory was not just about winning — it was about resilience, dedication, and the unbreakable spirit of an all-female squad determined to leave their mark.

This gold medal serves as a symbol of breaking barriers and setting new standards. It further solidifies the importance of a strong foundation, one built through grassroots development, which captures years of investment in our young athletes, from Baby Gap (Grade School Animo Squad) to HS Animo Squad.

May these athletes inspire others to dream big, work hard, and continue the tradition of excellence.

Behind every champion team is a group of dedicated coaches who push, inspire, and believe in their athletes long before they believe in themselves. Heartfelt thanks and congratulations too to Coaches Andro Garde, Lester Go, and Celine Tanjuatco. Cheers to the DLSZ Administration and dear parents for the unwavering support for all our athletes.

This gold medal is as much yours as it is the team’s. It is a team that believed in themselves, fought for their dreams, and made HERstory.

Animo La Salle!
