The DLSZ Junior Lady Tankers once again secured their eighth (8th) straight WNCAA Overall Swimming Championship last Sunday, February 2, at San Beda Alabang, Muntinlupa City proving their dominance in the pool. They rose above fierce competition from a stronger and larger field of contenders this year despite being a small team composed of only nine (9) swimmers.
This season’s meet hit differently, as more schools participated and contenders were towering over the Junior Lady Tankers—both in height and built. The team may lack in numbers and size but they were all made up with stout hearts and unbreakable willpower. They battled through very sore, tight muscles and the exhaustion brought by balancing rigorous schoolwork and yet they went all out to guard their crown.
With their tight-knit group, many had to swim event after event. They cheered and motivated one another to keep going, pushing past through fatigue and pain no matter what.
Their coach, Coach Garry Domingo, once again played his cards exquisitely, leveraging each swimmer’s strengths to maximize points and secure victory. His discerning vision for race strategy and his great familiarity with his swimmers’ strength and capabilities turned what seemed like a steep climb into yet another triumphant feat.
True enough, each girl contributed points and secured podium finishes. One of the biggest highlights of the meet was Ysabella Alcazar (DLSZ 2025), who was once again hailed as the Most Outstanding Swimmer—marking a back-to-back achievement for her.

They also look forward to seeing their team grow with new teammates who share the same grit and passion.
The DLSZ Junior Lady Tankers celebrate this momentous feat which is truly one for the books because it was not just about talent, but more about teamwork, perseverance, and the unwavering determination to remain champions.
Congratulations! Animo Lasallian Leaders!
