
DLSZ proudly recognizes the achievements of our Goals for Excellence in Mathematics (GEM) Mathletes in the recent Association of Science and Mathematics Educators of Public and Private Schools (ASMEPPS) National Math Quiz held last March 9, 2024, at the University of Baguio, Baguio City.

The event is the last stage of the ASMEPPS Math Quiz competition in which top mathletes from different schools across the country gather to compete head-to-head in the arena of numbers and equations. Among the notable performers, Julia Bernadette Cruz (DLSZ 2026) and Elisha John Capule (DLSZ 2028) bagged second place in their respective categories, demonstrating their exceptional skills and outperforming other competitors in their division.
The achievements of these mathletes are indicative of their exceptional mathematical prowess and commitment to the pursuit of excellence. Their dedication and unwavering competitive spirit serve as beacons of inspiration exhibiting the values developed and fostered under the guidance of the GEM coaches.
