The DLSZ 13-Under Basketball Team bagged another Championship in the Throwdown Basketball Premiere League, with a final score of 70-60 vs Norwegian Mads City last November 5, 2023, at the Hampton Court, Hillsborough, Alabang City.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Lance Ingco and Assistant Coach Mark Porlahe, our 2010 born players showed their dominance as they were undefeated the whole tournament.
Rye Teodor Villarruz tallied 24 points, 18 rebounds, 4 blocks, 3 assists, 1 steal and was awarded Finals MVP (Most Valuable Player). Wayne Rivera and Lorenzo Purugganan also scored in double digits with 13 points each. Individual awards were also given to John Dave Mindanao and Lorenzo Purugganan as part of the Mythical Five Selection.
