The DLSZ Robotics Elite Team finished strong in the Federation of International Robot-Sport Association (FIRA) Philippine Preliminaries held last April 15, 2023, in UP Diliman, Quezon City.
The Elite Team members in the Under-14 (U14) and Under-19 (U19) age divisions won various awards in three (3) Sumobot weight classes: 500g, 1 kg, and 3 kg.
These awards made the DLSZ Robotics Elite Team eligible to be part of the Philippine delegation in the upcoming FIRA RoboWorld Cup and Summit 2023 in Wolfenbuttel, Germany on July 17-21, 2023.
