Congratulations to the DLSZ Table Tennis High School Boys and Girls in the concluded UAAP Season 85 which was held at the Makati Coliseum, Makati City on November 20-26,2022, and the Batang Pinoy 2022, which was held at the San Vicente Gym, San Vicente, Ilocos Sur on December 20, 2022, respectively.
Our players in the High School Boys’ division successfully swept all the opposing colleges and universities in the first (1st) and second (2nd) rounds, securing their spot in the finals.
Faced against the formidable opponents of the University of Sto. Tomas (UST), the first team to achieve two (2) wins would be crowned the champions. After grueling matches, our boys won two (2) times in a row, making us the back-to-back champions of UAAP SEASON 82 and 85!
Please note, UAAP Season 83 and 84 were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, our players in the High School Girls’ division fought with all their hearts and abilities, facing UST in the Finals. Their hours-long, head-to-head matches resulted in securing the first (1st) runner-up place.

Lastly, individual player Kimberly J. Amandy (DLSZ 2026) participated in Batang Pinoy 2022 in Vigan, Ilocos Norte and had a great run. Kimberly finished as the 2nd runner-up out of 147 participants in the Cadet Girls category!
We would like to send our sincerest gratitude for the DLSZ community’s unending support. Without you and your efforts, we would not have the achievements that we have had since day one up to this point.
