DLSZ takes pride in Anicka Chabeli Castañeda (DLSZ 2017), Sara Isobel Castañeda (DLSZ 2015) and Francisco IV “Jay” Pascual (DLSZ 1990) for being part of the Philippine football history as members of the Philippine Women’s National Football Team (PWNFT) Malditas that qualified for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
Anicka (Jersey #11), Sara (Jersey #12) and Jay (Kitman/Coaching staff) are former members of the DLSZ Football Team.
PWNFT advanced to the AFC Asian Women’s Cup 2022 and qualified for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 after they defeated Chinese Taipei in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup quarterfinals last January 30, 2022 at Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in India.
Keanne Micah Alamo, daughter of Ken Alamo, a former member of the DLSZ Football Team, is also a member of the Malditas.
