Gradvantage Global College Fair 2022 hosted a free webinar on Clinical and Career Counseling Tools for Critical Times for guidance counselors in the Philippines on October 8, 2021 via Zoom. This event is in partnership with De La Salle Santiago Zobel School’s Counseling Office and College LinkQuest.
Mr. John Addy Garcia, PhD was the keynote speaker on the first part of this webinar series. He talked about “Post Pandemic Career Development Program for Students,” where he discussed the following topics: Understanding career development; how the pandemic has been reshaping career development work; and ways on how we can rethink career development in post-pandemic schools.
The webinar was attended by 71 guidance counselors from various schools like De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ), De La Salle University (DLSU), De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI), La Salle Green Hills (LSGH), Colegio San Agustin (CSA), Miriam College, PAREF schools, and St. Scholastica’s College, to name a few.
The second part of the webinar will be on October 15, 2021, 3:00 – 4:00 PM, via Zoom with guest speaker, Ms. Lucille Montes, MD, PhD.
GradVantage’s main goal is to equip counselors with the tools to develop a post pandemic career development program and to enhance their case conceptualization skills.
