These projects mainly focus on incorporating inventive and innovative ideas to existing products which utilize resources abundant in the community.

Tanim Co. presents a Lasallian Social Enterprise that aims to contribute to reducing environmental waste and pollution through the innovation of tire-potted plants. The use of these upcycled tire pots will help reduce the amount of pollution caused by the burning of unused tires. Tanim Co. also supports Sitio Makabuhay, its partner community, in providing a business concept that will serve as a means of sustainable livelihood. At present, 70% of the profits proceed to the said community to provide initial investments for their business endeavors.

Mangomez Pies is a non-profit organization consisting of thirty-three (33) leaders and employees who each strive to achieve the fruition of the company’s goals. The company’s mission is to provide quality delectable mango pie products to its consumers while creating livelihood plans for the marginalized communities. Thus, all their profits aid the development of a marginalized community.

Lumiere produces cost-effective, high-quality, aromatic-scented candles -offered only by “the candles that take you to places”- the Uniqami’s Lumiere scented candles. The Lumiere scented candles propose the feel of various places, as induced by the different scent variants developed- all of which contain therapeutic benefits. In addition, Uniqami is a company devoted to developing excellent, economical scented candles that will help in creating a sustainable livelihood for disadvantaged communities and succeeding in the market economy by establishing a cumulative and substantial business firm.

Mr. Danny’s Banana Chips was founded in 2018 at Imus City, Cavite. The company was established by five young entrepreneurs in hopes of reviving the Filipino snack industry by introducing new and exciting flavors to the market. They were also inspired by a community called Sitio Makabuhay which is a producer of bananas and other Filipino delicacies. By putting together the passion for service and the desire to improve the Filipino food industry, they have come up with a product that will greatly help the community and possibly redefine the industry.

Baningka Co. presents Baningka, an innovation of Bibingka, a locally known Filipino delicacy. The company was founded in 2018 by six young entrepreneurs, with the aim to advocate Filipino delicacies. It is with this desire that the entrepreneurs were given a chance to help Sitio Makabuhay, a community that is abundant with banana plants. Combining the advocacy, ideas, and resources, the entrepreneurs were able to create a local product that will help advocate the Filipino culture and provide a sustainable livelihood for the community.
