Robotics Elite Members, Robotics Teachers, and Administrators Participate in the International Robotics Exchange Program Workshop and MoU Signing in South Korea

As part of the exchange program of the De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) and Gyeongju Technical High School (GTHS), DLSZ sent six (6) students, four (4) teachers, and two (2) administrators to participate in the International Robotics Workshop hosted by GTHS, a technical school on Robotics last October 28 to November 1, 2019. Our very own students experienced robot programming and operation.

The team was composed of students, Robotics teachers, and administrators.

MEMORANDUM of UNDERSTANDING (MoU) between De La Salle Santiago Zobel School and Gyeongju Technical High School was signed last October 29, 2019 at Gyeongju Technical High School, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea, with the goal of promoting their cooperation in Robotics Education and English Education Exchange Program. Both schools enter into the following Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”)

  1. conduct activities that ensure proper international training and development of the students’ special skills and values;
  2. recommend and provide international training to the students and teachers
  3. provide opportunities for the students to excel through their participation in international workshops, festivals, and competitions;
  4. cooperate with internal and external partners of the school for international training enhancement, performance requests and other school projects;
  5. comply with schools’ regulations particularly on code of ethics, attendance and punctuality, students’ relations and disciplines; and
  6. ensure the safety and security of the students and teachers at all times during training, workshop, and special activities.

Students, teachers, and administrators from Gyeongju Technical High School (GTHS) will visit  De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) on January 15 to 23, 2020.
