The Youth Affairs and Sports Development Office (YASDO) of the City Government of Muntinlupa recently launched its 31st Boys and Girls Week last October 12, 2018 at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex in Barangay Tunasan. In line with Republic Act 10661, otherwise known as National Children’s Month Act of 2015, this year’s theme, “Isulong: Tamang Pag-aaruga para sa Lahat ng Bata” highlights the participation of students both from public and private schools.
Our participants took part in the pre-convention and election process and won the election with the following local positions – Sage Martina A. Espiritu (DLSZ 2025) District 3 Little Mayor, John Dominic F. Dimatulac (DLSZ 2025) District 3 Little Councilor, Riva G. Fong (DLSZ 2021) District 4 Social Service Department, and Jary Jerome Miel F. Tolentino (DLSZ 2021) District 4 Accounting Office. The students were placed under the mentorship of Ms. Elaine Tayao and Ms Rose Lambiquit for the grade school and Ms. Emie Baylon for the high school.
They will take part in various activities prepared by YASDO to give them an opportunity to learn and observe transparency, leadership, public service and inspire other individuals to become responsible youth of Muntinlupa.
