Microsoft has recently recognized De La Salle Santiago Zobel School as a Showcase School for AY 2018-2019.
The Microsoft Showcase School recognizes DLSZ for the vision and innovation in teaching, learning and assessment, computational and critical thinking as exemplified in the school’s Robotics program, creativity and collaboration as seen in the EdTech Initiatives like Minecraft for EDU projects, as well as a willingness to promote a growth mindset among educators and students.
With this recognition, the school hopes to be able to continue strengthening our teacher – student capacity through the use of Microsoft Productivity and Creativity Tools like Minecraft for EDU, Build early knowledge and interests for computational thinking through coding using MakeCode and MicroBit as well as the increased support for school initiatives like the SparkEd.
