Donate Your Pre-Loved Gowns to One Closet and Make a Difference in the Lives of Mindanaoan Children

One of our pioneer alumni, Mr. Fred Blancas of DLSZ 1984, is asking for the Lasallian communities’ support for One Closet, a social enterprise based in Butuan that rents out donated pre-loved gowns and dresses. Part of the proceeds will go to the educational needs of the children in Mindanao particularly the young girls who were victims of abuse and are being helped by the Sisters Disciples of Jesus in the Eucharist.

Mr. Fred’s 14-year old daughter, Isabela, founded One Closet and started the campaign this year.
So far, One Closet has already received pre-loved gowns and formal wear from famous fashion designers Rajo Laurel, Veejay Floresca, Alodia Cecilia, Delby Bragais, Edgar San Diego, John Guarnes, Martin Bautista, Mitzi Quilendrino, Noel Crisostomo, Kaye Morales, Ziggy Savella, Michele Sison and Cherry Samuya Veric; socialites Tessa Prieto and Kaye Tinga; and Binibining Pilipinas beauty queens Miriam Quiambao and Avon Garcia along with other generous individuals.
