The Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) conferred a Gold Medal to Daniella Kristin Marie Evan (DLSZ 2016) during the Youth Excellence in Science (YES) Award last February 25, 2015 for winning two gold medals in International Mathematics competitions in 2014.
YES Award is given to the youth who had exemplary achievement/s in the fields of science and mathematics. Recipients of this award are “winners of international science and math competitions that have been duly registered with DOST-SEI”. Awardees get a Secretary’s Medal.
