Luntiang Binhi Publication (LBP), the official student publication of Brother Rafael Donato Night High School (BrafeNHS), won two gold and two silver medals in the recently concluded Muntinlupa Division Press Conference with the theme, “The Role of Campus Journalism in Creating Future Leaders,†held last September 18-21, Southernside Montessori School, Muntinlupa City.
Elijah Felice E. Rosales (V-B St. Zita) emerged as champion in Sports Writing, and second place in News Writing, both in English category.
Furthermore, Nica J. Bangcuyo (7-C St. Bernadette) topped the Filipino Editorial Writing while Elizabeth V. Dequiña (V-B St. Zita) ranked second in Filipino News Writing.
Mr. Mark Anthony V. Bercando, LBP Adviser, trained and accompanied the participants in the said contest.
LBP presently competes in the 2012 Regional Secondary Schools Press Conference (RSSPC) being held at St. Mary’s Academy-Caloocan. The RSSPC winners will represent NCR in the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC 2013) which will take place in Tacloban City, Leyte.
