DLSZ Wins in Several Contests During EConvergence 2011

 Out of 32 contenders from16 participating schools, DLSZ won 2^nd Runner-up during the EConvergence 2011 held on February 21, 2011 at the University of the Philippines, Los Baños (UPLB). EConvergence, with the theme “The Market Dichotomy:  Different Roles of Gender in the Economy”, was sponsored by the UPLB Economics Society.
 Marco del Valle (DLSZ 2013) and Francine Malantic (DLSZ 2013) won 3^rd place in the Intellectual Encounter Debate (British Parliamentary Style); Anthony Militante (DLSZ 2012) won 2^nd place in Impromptu Speaking;  Babaeng Mangingisda, the school’s entry won 2^nd place in the Mini Documentary.  They were trained by Mr. Rolly delos Santos, Ms. June Sebastian, Ms. May Lubuguin, Ms. Malu Navida, Mr. Andy Macasaet, and Mr. Nonoy Sabilano.
