Congratulations to the DLSZ Taekwondo Kyorugi Team on their outstanding performance at the 2026 National Taekwondo Championships held from July 25–26, 2026 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Manila. 

The prestigious national tournament gathered some of the country’s best taekwondo athletes, providing an excellent platform for young jins to showcase their talent, determination, and sportsmanship. 

On the first day of the tournament, the team opened the competition with remarkable performances, highlighted by two (2) podium finishes. Aleana Nicole Nicolas (DLSZ 2031) delivered an exceptional performance to capture the Gold Medal, demonstrating outstanding skill, composure, and championship spirit throughout the tournament. Mary Josephine Bocaling (DLSZ 2031) also earned the Bronze Medal, showcasing resilience and determination against a highly competitive field.

Each student-athlete displayed discipline, resilience, and true sportsmanship, representing the school on the national stage. Their performances continue to inspire the Lasallian community and reflect the school’s pursuit of excellence in both academics and athletics.
