DLSZ Triathlon Team Excels in National Aquathlon Events
Congratulations to the De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) Triathlon Team for an extraordinary string of podium finishes at the National Aquathlon Championships and the SBR’s Aquaman Aquathlon held at the Amoranto Stadium, Quezon City and the Vermosa Sports Hub, Imus, Cavite, respectively.
National Aquathlon Championships
Facing the country’s top aquathletes, the team delivered outstanding performances on May 17, 2026.
Iñigo Matteo David (DLSZ 2028) claimed an outstanding 2nd Place finish, demonstrating determination, discipline, and rigorous training that reflected his unwavering commitment to the sport.
Matt David Morales (DLSZ 2028) also secured an impressive 3rd Place finish, displaying grit, focus, and disciplined preparation throughout a highly competitive race.
SBR’s Aquaman Aquathlon
Continuing the team’s winning momentum, Makayla Antoinette Reyes (DLSZ 2028) achieved a remarkable 2nd Place finish held on May 30, 2026. Playing against a strong field of talented young competitors, she displayed exceptional determination, resilience, and composure.
These achievements by Matteo, Matt, and Makayla are a testament to their relentless hard work and the steadfast guidance of Coach Noel Salvador. This also further strengthens the team’s growing reputation on the national stage. As these athletes continue to compete among the country’s best, they proudly represent the Lasallian values of excellence, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
