DLSZ Triathlon Team Powers Through a Weekend of Duathlon and Aquathlon Success

The Triathlon Team proudly showcased their endurance and determination with a double participation weekend at two (2) multisport events held simultaneously on September 28, 2025. The team conquered both the My Daily Collagen Super Duathlon 2025 at Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub, Imus City, and the National Aquathlon Championships 2025 at Amoranto Sports Swimming Pool, Quezon City. 

My Daily Collagen Super Duathlon 2025

Louis Prince Pagay (DLSZ 2027)
Champion, My Daily Collagen Super Duathlon Male 16-19
Prince delivered a dominant performance, maintaining an impressive 5:07 min/km pace on his opening 3km run before transitioning smoothly to the bike leg. He sustained a strong average speed of 33.3 kph across the 20km course and closed with a consistent 5:14 min/km pace on the final 3km run to secure the overall championship title. His total time of 1:07:08 reflected his power and endurance throughout all segments of the race.

Oliver Kurt Alingarog (DLSZ 2032)
Champion, My Daily Collagen Kids Duathlon Male 11-12
Kurt showed great control and speed throughout the race, starting with a fast 5:19 min/km pace on the first run. He powered through the 5km bike segment with an average speed of 26.6 kph before finishing strong with a faster 4:57 min/km pace on the final run. His total time of 21:33 highlighted his race maturity and growing consistency as he claimed the top spot in his age category.

Enrique Jose De La Rosa (DLSZ 2034)
Champion, My Daily Collagen Kids Duathlon Male 9-10
Enrique raced with confidence from start to finish, opening with a quick 5:56 min/km pace on his first 500m run and maintaining an impressive 21.5 kph average on the 3km bike course. He kept his pace steady on the final 500m run at 5:58 min/km, sealing his victory with a total time of 14:19. His performance showcased both precision and determination beyond his years.

Tayshawn Caleb Carlos (DLSZ 2027)
2nd Place, My Daily Collagen Super Duathlon Male 16-19
Caleb displayed exceptional effort and composure, starting fast with a 4:37 min/km pace on his first 3km run. He sustained a solid 30.6 kph average on the 20km bike segment before pushing through the final 3km run with a 5:39 min/km pace to finish second overall. His total time of 1:10:00 reflected his strong endurance and leadership as team captain.

Inigo Sebastian Souza (DLSZ 2028)
2nd Place, My Daily Collagen Kids Duathlon Teens Male 13-15
Inigo opened the race with a quick 4:45 min/km pace and showed strong potential throughout. Despite suffering a flat tire midway through the bike course, he impressively managed to ride nearly 6km before getting it fixed, maintaining an overall average speed of 22.4 kph. He closed the race with a 5:27 min/km pace on his final run, finishing with a total time of 57:25 and securing second place through remarkable resilience and determination.

Mateo Ithiel Gatdula (DLSZ 2032)
Finisher, My Daily Collagen Kids Duathlon Male 11-12
Mateo displayed perseverance and steady form throughout the event, finishing with strength and composure, further contributing to DLSZ’s strong presence at the race.

DLSZ also acknowledges the participation of Amarra Klaire Alingarog (DLSZ 2037), who showed early athletic promise as Champion in the My Daily Collagen Kids Duathlon Female 6 & Below, demonstrating that the spirit of multisport excellence runs in the family.

The group now shifts its focus toward the upcoming National Duathlon Championship 2025 on October 19, 2025, to be held in Villar City, Daang Hari, Bacoor, Cavite. This exceptional weekend of dual events highlighted DLSZ Triathlon’s commitment to excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. With Coach Noel Salvador’s guidance, our young Lasallian triathletes continue to grow stronger, braver, and faster, representing the school with pride and passion across every race course.
